Guillermo “High-and-Tight” Castaneda
NPC pack member.
I lifted this guy almost straight from Four Cliaths, a post on my blog, and he was originally going to be a brother for Matt's character, and I was going to change his ethnic history etc to suit that... but then Matt decided to run a Garou instead, he's back to his original format. Note that I have left him at a starting level rather than giving him experience. The dude's not supposed to be at quite the level of the PCs - he's backup. :)

Guillermo, as a first generation Salvadorean immigrant, dreamed of serving in the US Military as a show of gratitude to the country to which his family escaped from crushing poverty and internecine strife. He hoped to serve as an officer, and read voraciously about warfare, its history and tactics. Then, at the age of 14, he Changed.
The Glass Walkers found him in short order, and he was now in an entirely different sort of army, fighting in a much more important war… but the Garou, even the Glasswalkers, felt and fought more like tribesmen than real soldiers, and he felt incredibly frustrated at their chaotic and often undisciplined nature. Then he learned about a camp of Garou that studied and taught its members and the Garou nation at large to study, learn from and use the tactics, weapons and training methods of the world’s greatest modern militaries in preparation for the Final Battle – and best of all, they equipped and trained their Kin to act as full pack members. Guillermo immediately made his way to join this camp at their compound/boot camp in Western Australia.
He happily dove into the indoctrination and culture of the Dies Ultimae, and was filled with an evangelical zeal. Now, he travels about North America, making presentations and telling the stories of his camp’s successes in an effort to proselytize (he would call it “recruiting”) to forward-thinking Garou as well as Kinfolk that want to adapt and bring the War of the Apocalypse into the modern age. Also, he makes a point of not just recruiting but fighting for Gaia as an example himself. In his travels, he is accompanied by his sister Maria, who has a pretty face to help with Guillermo’s presentations as well as a knack for circumventing security systems.
He seldom bothers shifting into Crinos form, preferring to fight in Glabro using firearms and wearing extensive body armor. Though he is a skilled fighter and demagogue, he badly needs to connect to his spiritual and wolfish side.

Guillermo, with 21 XP to spend:

2 dots of Totem (4 XP)
Rituals 2 (4xp)
Melee 2 (4 XP)
Gift: either Call of the Wyld (3) or Mindspeak (3)
total XP spend: 19
Maria, with 21 XP to spend:
Firearms 3 (6 XP)
Politics 1 (3 XP)
Alertness 2 (4 XP)
Empathy 2 (4xp)
Expression 2 (4XP)

Since he's backup, does anybody have any preferences on G-man's Gift loadout? Which would you rather he have, Mindspeak or Call of the Wyld?

Also, I think he'll use that second dot of Rituals to allow him to learn the Rite of Accomplishment. He's been studying at the Caern, after all.

I've decided he's going for Call of the Wyld rather than Mindspeak

Since he's about to hit rank 2, I'm looking over the Rank 2 Gifts for his breed, tribe and auspice and contemplating which he should start looking at buying.
so far the frontrunners are:
Call of the Wyrm (Galliard 2 - it can compel nearby Wyrm things to come to papa) and Garafena's Crown (GW2 - Spend a Gnosis point and enjoy having unlimited ammunition with all guns for the rest of the scene.)
Any of y'all have a preference?

Garafena's Crown fits the character better and doesn't give us a reason to kill Linda when he uses it.
