Story II - The Enemy of My Enemy
This story began immediately after the ending of Story 1, with the group arranging to split up in order to go in two different dierctions as they tried to work the Garou and Mage angles on the threat that both faced, hoping to arrange some cooperation between the two: The Garou and Possessed characters heading back up to the Caern and the Mages gathering at the Verbena Grove for a Tribunal. This story's main action took place entirely within the span of one day: Friday 3/11/2012 (which was a half moon day).
The Enemy Of My enemy, Chapter I: Who Rescues the Rescuers?
Here we are showing the general route from Prattville on the shores of Lake Almanor where the Tribunal was held (A) to Taylorsville (B) where the combat took place.
We handled this chapter as two concurrent scenes handled in separate chat rooms:
Chapter I A - Chapter I, Scene A. This file begins with a quick intro sequence for Alexis, where Joseph Chases-the-Dream asks for her help (said help actually happening in Scene B) and has a staredown with a Wendigo Ragabash. The main body of this file details Ashton, Odysseus and Rowena's efforts at the beginning of the tribunal, which got tabled to deal with the kidnapping of Helen Tyndale and rapidly went south once they found her, leading to all three PC mages very nearly being killed. Solomon aided them with some long-range sorcery and then Amrita was able to gate herself and Linda to the scene to mop up and save the horribly wounded characters as well as Helen.
Chapter I B - Chapter I, Scene B had Alexis, Amrita, Linda and Steve up at the Caern discussing the Litany and taking care of some business with the sept. Steve made some deals and then started making his way out to the HSL worksite for some scouting. Then Amrita learned that Ash was in mortal combat (the events in scene A), and grabbed Linda to rush to his aid.
Chapter I Blue Books and Scenes
Those Left Behind - Events at the Caern just after Linda and Amrita's departure as seen through the eyes of Joseph Chases-the-Dream, as a fairly routine infiltration goes horribly wrong. Guillermo contacts Linda to inform her of the dire situation at Cinder Cone.
A Ghost of Our Making - Steve dashes off towards Cinder Cone and the HSL camp, sharing information with Burning-Mountain along the way, and enroute he discovers that an unquiet shade has latched on to him. Guillermo warns him about the Warpath's danger and Steve rushes to their aid.
Ambulance Driver - Ro drives the SUV that Linda stole from the slain Fomori while Linda examines Helen's injuries. Linda catches Ro up on the gist of the situation, and the two come to an understanding of mutual intent.
Driving - Amrita, Ashton and Odysseus headed for the Verbena Grove and discussing the Taylorsville debacle... and speculating as to just what enemy action it was that they weren't supposed to be looking at at the time.
First Responders - Steve, Guillermo and Maria are the first to come to the assistance of the Warpath, as the pack was pinned down in a rocky outcropping by a large team of men armed with silver bullets and body armor. Steve and the others attacked the besiegers, and with the help of the Warpath were able to defeat them.

The Enemy Of My enemy, Chapter II: An Appeal of Alliance
Again, this chapter was begun as two concurrent scenes, but it merged part way through as the groups came together.
Chapter II a -This is the main narrative of the session since it includes the portion after the group reunited. It details the return of the mage contingent at the Verbena grove in Prattville with Amrita and Linda in tow. They brought Helen to the house and arranged healing, then persuaded the area's mages to cooperate with each other and the Garou to stop the Fallen. Once Solomon teleported the PC group to Lassen, they blindsided the snipers that were troubling the Garou in section b, and everybody reunited.
Chapter II b - A shorter parallel sequence covering what the Garou and Kin who began the session out in Lassen were up to. They gathered with the Warpath and hooked up with further reinforcements, reacted to the death of Silent-Medicine, made some plans of action and then played a game of cat and mouse with a small group of HSL snipers.
Chapter II Blue Books and Scenes
The Gang's All Here - A blue-book/side scene featuring every single active player character. It's essentially just a continuation of the main chapter, being run on 11/22/2011. Rowena and Ashton had a confrontation over the treatment of the wounded HSL sniper. Steve acquired a stockpile of ballistic vests from downed HSL goons and distributed them. They all began coordinating and discussing the plan of action for striking out at HSL, and engaged NPC mages and Garou in the proceedings.
Random Acts of Science - An Odysseus/Linda blue book crafted in a Google documents session on 11/25/2011. Odysseus makes his Heisenberg Compensation Armor, mark I. Be afraid.
Allies and Ammunition - A Steve/Linda/Ashton/Amrita side scene set just after the other two above, leading in to the start of Chapter 3. Amrita becomes a literal treehugger, Ashton supercharges some bullets and folks discuss the way ahead.
Calling Down the Rain - A side scene about the Lassen area's mages, showing the efforts that they took to assist the protagonists against HSL at Cinder Cone.
A Walk in the Woods - Amrita/Ashton, sometime between Allies and Ammunition and chapter 3. A bit of soul-searching takes place as they discuss the moral ramifications of their actions and the demands of the war.
Frisco and New York - Amrita and Ro finally getting a chance to have an actual conversation, shortly after the Walk in the Woods sequence. They bond over 9/11 experiences, and this scene reminds us that this game is presently set in spring of 2011.

The Enemy Of My Enemy, Chapter III: What Slumbers Beneath
The first fully merged chapter we've had in a while, this one was run on 12/4/2011 real time.
Chapter III - While strategizing and coordinating with the Garou, the group confirmed that yes, the HSL crew is definitely trying to awaken a Great Bane beneath Cinder Cone. After dropping Maria off up on Prospect Peak to do a little sniping while the Garou tried to storm the volcano proper under cover of Bill's summoned rainstorm, the crew entered the lava tubes beneath The Fantastic Lava Beds through a hole that HSL had blasted through the crust. They made their way towards the Bane's chamber, and came under enemy fire upon arrival.
Chapter III Blue Books and Scenes
Sniper Duel - A side scene starring Maria (played by Ryan), White Feather (played by Alesia) and special appearance by Marco (played by Daniel), wherein we learn that Maria is indeed the luckiest girl alive, and that she did survive playing tag with a bunch of HSL snipers up on Prospect Peak (presuming that the protagonists don't go getting killed and unleashing something huge and nasty under the mountain, anyhow). The Enemy Of My Enemy, Chapter IV: Operation Cancel Wake-Up Call
Chapter IV -The log of this chapter, which was entirely taken up with the massive battle underneath Cinder Cone. Steve is killed, Linda loses her marbles and a lot of people fall down.
Chapter IV Blue Books and Scenes
Story 2-4 Battle - The conclusion to Chapter 4, handled during the break in a wiki page. Log cleaned up a bit and round beginnings and ends more clearly delineated. Details Will be added to the scene log.
Story 2-4 Epilogue - an ongoing wiki-scene that follows up on the preceding battle page, as the characters deal with the immediate aftermath of Steve's death and their hard-won victory over the Nephandus and his allies.
The Battle of Cinder Cone - A cutscene showing the conflict atop the mountain through the eyes of Joseph Chases-the-Dream, concurrent with chapters 3-4 of this story.
Story 2-4 Transition - This is where Joseph and Wil link up with the group and Wil officially joins the narrative, and it's the bridge between the prior chapter and chapter 5. The group finishes taking stock of themselves and starts heading out of the caves. The epilogue page had gotten long enough and it was time to split it off.

The Enemy Of My Enemy, Chapter V
Chapter V: This chapter was mostly taken up with the aftermath of the Battle of Cinder Cone. The wounded are brought up for treatment, the Garou and mages consult with one another and it is determined that Jimmy will be given to Solomon for execution. Amrita manages to negotiate with Burning-Mountain to obtain approval for her Mage companions to accompany her to the Caern so that she can be healed and they can attend the Gathering For the Departed. The Garou PCs escort the rest of the group down to Solomon's house to witness Jimmy's demise.
Chapter V Blue Books and Scenes
Triage - Amrita and Linda have a quick discussion while they have a moment alone together in a tent awaiting medical help for Amrita.

Chapter VI: The PCs deliver Jimmy to Solomon, who pushes him into the Avatar Storm in order to execute him. Everybody heads up to the Caern, where they honor the fallen and a measure of reconciliation between wolf and man takes place.

- Gathering For the Departed - Sunset at Tehama's Dish. The Garou and Mages say their goodbyes to their honored dead.
- Personal Effects - Linda and Joseph. Night, after Ro and most of the Mages left the Bawn. Linda goes through Steve's things and decides what to do with them.
- Dharma Talk - Amrita and Ashton discuss their respective dharmas in a cabin up at the Caern.
