Story VI - Toad in the Hole

This story began on April 7th, 2011, and involved the group trying to finally run Miles Cortin, their long standing and elusive adversary, to ground. Our protagonists were hardly the only parties (including Agent Wilt Jackson of the Syndicate and the mysterious "Them") interested in the disposition of Mr. Cortin. Between this and his own unwillingness to sit still and cooperate while everybody else came after him, this proved to be rather more messy, and more tricky, than they had hoped.

Toad in the Hole, Chapter I

Chapter I - Played 11/18/2012. The action started with the group gathering at The Lab to plan what to do about the impending flight of Miles Cortin, the Fomor executive that the group has been after on some level for most of the chronicle. Their conference was interrupted before it could quite begin when a young Bone Gnawer lass named Sunshine appeared at the front door with a story that didn't quite check out...

This was our first regular chapter that was played entirely in a Google document rather than chat.

Chapter 6 - (Played 4/29/2013) - Miles Cortin is escorted up to Griffith Observatory and handed off to Agent Jackson with surprisingly little trouble despite considerable Technocratic attention. This is the concluding chapter of Story 6. Set on April 8, 2011.

• Epilogue: Defaulted - (Codes: NGI, Rating: PG) Miles Cortin's interrogation by Agent Jackson goes rather differently than the cabal's effort did.
• Touching Base - (Codes: RO, Rating: PG) Ro and Molly discuss the Cortin and Pentex situation and speculate, then Ro checks in on her wounded mate. April 8th, after chapter VI.
• Epilogue: to Jump at Shadows -  (Codes: NGI, RO, Rating: PG) Amrita Singh, Vox and Jack Carter share information and look into a series of mysterious beatings of Kinfolk. April 9th.
• Amrita & Joseph: Pre-Meeting - (Codes: RO, Rating: G)  Amrita and Joseph talk before the get-together that came on April 10th. An idea for a multi-group gathering comes up during the discussion of a Rite of Accomplishment.
